This blog is dedicated to all the holidays, celebrations, festivals and remembrances from around the world.  My goal is to try and build understanding between people of different races, nationalities and faiths.  With the strife that is pervasive in our world society we need to get to know one another and by knowing one another, I believe, we will care more for each other.  This is kind of a high goal to set but the way in which I am attempting to help this is by simply providing information on speacial days through out the year.  I want to give people a reason to see every day as speacial for someone and maybe a little speacial for them as well.
